Board of Education Athletic Committee Meeting

Grant Public Schools March 26, 2007

The Athletic Committee of the Grant Public Schools Board of Education met on March 26, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at the Grant Public Schools Administration Building.

Board Members Present: Jon Chase, Bob Jenema and Jill Niewiadomski

Board Members Absent: None

Others Present: Scott Bogner & Lance Stray

Two items were discussed with the committee with the first being the renovation of the existing JV baseball field. A proposal was made to extend the fences of the field to make the field more regulation size. The committee voted in favor of this proposal.

The second item and subsequent discussion revolved around Grant Public Schools preparedness for the upcoming mandated change in seasons. We are prepared and are ready to make the change if we are mandated to do so. It was noted that Mr. Stray be commended for keeping the best interests of our district and athletes in mind when formalizing plans.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
