"Teen Center"  - An After-School Program for High School Students

The Teen Center program held in the Learning Center is targeted for teenagers in 7th through 12th grade at Grant Public Schools. The center is open Monday through Friday, from  3:30 p.m. until 6 p.m., is supervised at all times and provides a relaxing, safe and fun environment for students. Activities offered to the students include pool, air hockey, TV/movies, video games, cards and board games. Tournaments in pool, air hockey, chess or checkers, and cards are held on Fridays. Volleyball and basketball will soon be added to this list of Friday night tournaments. A study room with computer privileges is also available for student use.

Sandwiches are available to students at no cost and snacks and pop are available at minimal prices with special treats on "tourney night".

The response to the Teen Center has been an enormous success and each week the regularly attending teens are being joined by new attendees.
