Turkey Burgers

6 ounces ground turkey (yields about 4 ounces cooked)

salt and pepper as desired

  1. Shape the ground turkey into patties.
  2. Cook over medium heat in a non stick skillet

Optional: add a drop of sesame oil to the skillet.

Turkey burger II:

1/3 cup oatmeal, uncooked

½ cup chicken broth, canned, homemade, or from bouillon cubes

1 pound ground turkey

1 egg or 2 egg whites

2 tbs. grated onion

salt and pepper or garlic salt

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the oatmeal, broth, turkey, egg, onion, and seasonings.
  2. Shape into 4 patties. Cook over medium-high heat in a nonstick skillet for about 5 minutes per side.
