Circuit Training

Circuit Training is an excellent way to improve mobility, strength, and stamina.  The circuit training format utilizes a group of 18-20 exercises that are completed one exercise after another. Each exercise is performed for a specified time period  before moving onto the next exercise.  The exercises within each circuit are separated by brief, timed rest intervals. The class lasts for one hour and the last five minutes are for stretching as a cool down.

 

            

Who: We have a variety of experienced leaders that lead the circuit training. They are Physical Education teachers, Physical Therapist Assistant, or the Wellness Director.

When:  Usually there are classes held in the winter months but we have also had them in the summer.

Where:   Grant Athletic and Fitness Center

Cost:  $40.00 for 6 weeks for 12 sessions. (Usually they run two days a week)

 

We have just finished the morning and evening class and will take a few months off.
