We only have a few weeks left in the classroom and we need to make sure they are great weeks.  We had
a good 2nd Tri-mester as we had 33 players from the football program make it on the honor roll- this is up 4 kids from last
year at this time.  We are hoping to break that number for the current tri-mester.  We have set three goals for our varsity team this
year in the classroom: Nobody Ineligible, Average GPA of entire team at a 3.0 and to earn academic all state honors.
We are doing a good job up to this point but need to end strong to earn all 3 goals.
As for our off-season, its been a very committed one.  Our numbers have been up from last year and as of right
now, this will be the strongest varsity team we will be fielding in 3 years. A few weeks back we held our weight room testing
and the players established 102 new personal records- out of a possible 113!
As of June 11th, our summer program will be started.  Attached is a "commitment sheet" we are asking players
to sign if we can count on them to attend a minimum of 65% of the summer workouts.  This equates to about 2.5% of their total
summer hours.  PLEASE ONLY SIGN THIS IF THE COACHING STAFF AND TEAMMATES CAN COUNT ON YOU!!
