If your child is ill please call the Primary Center office at 834-7382. If you are calling before or after school hours you may leave a message on our voicemail system. Please remember that students need to be fever free (which means fever free without medication) for 24 hours before returning to school. This helps us prevent the spread of illness.
You should have received your confirmation for Parent Teacher Conferences. Our conferences are November 11 and 12. Times have been scheduled through the classroom teacher.
We are sending home the Plumb’s Supermarket cards home. If you choose to use these, you will run them through the Plumb’s “machine” when checking out. Plumb’s will keep track of purchases and award points that the Primary Center may use to get supplies or equipment.
Please dress your child in warm clothing. Our weather is becoming colder. Students need to have warm clothing for outdoor recess.
If a parent wishes, the school may administer medicine during the school day. Medicine needs to be dropped off by the parent. The parent will also fill out a form regarding the medicine. Any medicine must be in its original container. Our school nurse, Mrs. Behler, can answer any questions parents may have.
We are collecting BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION. Each box top is worth ten cents. Money earned from Box Tops for Education has been used a number of ways. We have purchased library books, leveled library books, motor equipment and classroom materials.
If you are making a change in the way your student is going home please call the Primary Center office by 2:45 PM at 834-7382. If this change involves a bus, you will also need to call the Transportation Department at 834-5964.
Picture retakes will be November 6th.
There will be no school on November 13, 2009.
This will be the last weekly newsletter. These newsletters will arrive bi-weekly. The next one will be sent home November 12th.
