Skyward Updates & Changes
Standards GradeBook (Elementary & Primary Center)
The ability to add Attachments to Standards Gradebook Subjects
has been added to PaC as well as the
Academic Area setup in Product Setup. These Attachments can be viewed in the
Standards Gradebook
They can also be viewed in Family or Student Access if the option to allow
them to be displayed has been
selected.
A Save and Score button has been added to allow teachers to create a new event and score it right away.
An option to Round Term/Semester Skill Grade Percents when
calculating the Semester/Final Subject
Grades has been added to the Standards Gradebook.
The ability to enter a skill adjustment has been added to the Standards Gradebook.
When entering override grades, the user can now select from
the available Exempt, Incomplete and
Medical Grade Marks. The Skill or Subject would then be excluded from any of
the calculations.
The Subject and Skill Grade Entry screens have been modified
to show prior terms when entering current
term grades.
Teachers are now able to enter comments for any Subjects that
are marked to be graded. Subject
Comments can be entered for each term the same as the class comment.
Standards Gradebook users can now define a default maximum
score for events. This value can be
accessed on the Event Display Options Screen.
Standards Gradebook will now allow teachers to enter a Subject
Adjustment even if none of the Skills
attached to that Subject have a Grade.
Teachers now have the ability to choose how they want Subject,
Skill and Event grades to display.
Depending on the calculation method used for the Academic Area, teachers will
be able to choose from
Grade Mark, Score, Percent and Check.
The Standards Gradebook Quick Score screen has been changed so
that it will remove the missing flag for
a student automatically when the user enters a score or grade mark for an
event that was marked as
missing.
The Event and Missing Event reports can now be run for
multiple classes from the Gradebook Class List
Screen.
If printing the comments on a separate page, the teacher and
class information will always print on the
comments page so the student/guardian can see which comments were given by
each teacher. The teacher
and class for each set of comments are identified even if the user has checked
the option to not print the
teacher and class information on the report card setup.

Final Grade. This option can only be used if the district is already rounding
the term and semester grades
when calculating the Semester and/or Final Grade.
