Good Day Everybody,
I wanted to share some awesome news that we have been working on. A while back our Grant Schools Crisis Team meet and an Idea popped up about having an Emotional Support Dog in our district.
Grant Police Department, Grant Schools, and Schindy's K9 Advocacy, and Training are partnering to make this dream come true.
I meet with several breeders and trainers as well as Schindy's K9 Advocacy and Training. We will be in the works to bring a 20 lb Lap Cuddle hypoallergenic Malchipoo poo to help support our students and adults.
The breeder we chose just called and told us she had a litter last night and we will have the first pick.
I give you this exciting news for a couple of reasons. We will be doing several fundraisers that we talked about to make this happen. However, I wanted to share with you all a couple of opportunities if your heart is convicted to help.
I did create a go fund me page at https://gofund.me/316b105b
and a venmo @srovisser
These options are available to donate. Also if you know of anybody that you can think of that would be willing to help out please pass them along the information. If you have any questions please let me know.
Lastly, I want to shout out to you all but please thank all the counselors that came up with this AWESOME IDEA. They spearheaded it and it's going to come to life now. I AM STOKED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY TO HELP OUR STUDENTS.
